Gabrielle Wildheart (nee. Abbott) is known for vibrant paintings honoring our Sacred stories.

Since 2009, Gabrielle’s murals have strengthened communities and provided soul to the concrete jungle.

Gabrielle is a proud member of the Washington State Arts Commission’s Public Artist Roster since 2018, and her work adorns schools, libraries, and public spaces around the region.

“At age 20 I moved to Italy and worked as a traveling sidewalk chalk artist, busking for tips.”

“This is how my career began. For three years, I traveled around Europe, recreating famous paintings while passerbys dropped coins in my baskets. Busking taught me how to work fast and large. Copying the old masters taught me draftsmanship.

Most importantly, by transforming dreary sidewalks into activated spaces, I learned the power of art to heal.
